Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Sudinam handles information when you use the mobile application and its supporting services.
Information you provide
- Account information: name, email address, user identifier, and authentication-provider information when you choose to sign in.
- Profile and astrology information: names, gender, birth date, birth time, birthplace, coordinates, time zone, and saved preferences that you enter for calculations or profiles.
- Support information: the message, contact details, diagnostics, and attachments you choose to include in a support request.
Location and calendar access
Sudinam uses a selected place or coordinates to calculate local astronomical timings and determine the applicable time zone. Device location is used only after permission is granted. Location search requests may be sent to Sudinam's Cloudflare-hosted service. Calendar access is used only when you choose calendar features; calendar information is processed on the device and is not uploaded by Sudinam for advertising.
Cloud backup and accounts
If you sign in and enable account-backed features, selected settings and profile information may be stored in Google Firebase so they can be restored. You can request deletion of your account and associated cloud data using the process on the account-deletion page.
Analytics, diagnostics, and messaging
Firebase Analytics is optional and disabled until you enable the analytics setting. If enabled, it helps us understand feature use and improve Sudinam. Firebase Crashlytics remains enabled for application stability and system-health monitoring and may process crash traces, device and app information, and diagnostic identifiers. Firebase Cloud Messaging may process an installation or messaging token to deliver notifications you request.
Advertising
Sudinam uses Google AdMob and requests non-personalized ads. Advertising providers may process IP-derived approximate location, device or advertising identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostics to deliver, limit, secure, and measure ads. Sudinam does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission and does not intentionally enable cross-app tracking. Regional consent and privacy options are provided when required.
Service providers
Sudinam uses Google Firebase for authentication, optional analytics, crash reporting, cloud messaging, remote configuration, App Check, and cloud data; Google AdMob for advertising; Cloudflare Workers, D1, R2, and related security services for protected content, location search, and validated support-request relay; and Mailgun for delivery of support email. These providers process information under their own terms and applicable privacy commitments.
Retention and deletion
On-device information remains until you remove it, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Cloud account data is retained while the account is active and for the limited time reasonably necessary to process deletion, protect the service, meet legal obligations, or resolve security issues. Support messages and attachments are delivered to the monitored support mailbox and retained only as needed to resolve the request, maintain security, or meet legal obligations. Service providers may retain delivery logs, de-identified records, or legally required records under their policies.
Children
Sudinam is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit account information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so it can be removed.
Your choices
You can decline location, notification, and calendar permissions, disable optional analytics, manage regional advertising privacy choices, remove saved profiles, sign out, or request account deletion. Some requested features cannot operate without the information or permission they require.
Security and international processing
We use platform security, authenticated services, transport encryption, and abuse protections appropriate to the service. No system can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to applicable safeguards.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when Sudinam's features or legal obligations change. The effective date will be revised when material updates are published. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to apps@pragyan.tech.
